We return from Spain and tell Nico what we have been up to. Since we are awesome she is super impressed and decides to (finally) join us on our adventure. 'Bout time! This is part 19 of my playtrough of Shadow of the Templars (reforged). !Spoiler alert! We are almost at the end of the game. There is one more part (after this one) that contains the ending. This means it looks and sounds better and it plays more fluently, but the storyline has not changed. Shadow of the Templars is the first game from the Broken Sword series. Release date: Sep, 2024 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Broken Sword is a well known adventure game-series that focuses on point and click. The main characters are George Stobbart and Nico Collard who have to work together to solve mysteries. Reforged means remastered with 4k visuals and remastered audio. Step out onto the streets of Paris as American George and Parisian journalist Nico team up to explore exotic locations, solve puzzles and thwart dark conspiracies to discover the arcane secrets of the Knights Templar. In this game you take the role of innocent tourist George Stobbard who unwillingly gets thrown into something that's bigger than he's able to comprehend at the time. Luckily Nico is there to help him. She, being a little less naïve, and a local, will aid him in discovering what's going on exactly. To unravel everything we need to explore the city, uncover ancient secrets and travel around the world. This game also has puzzles that require observation, deduction and creativity to solve. Before I forget, you're also able to make mistakes, which will end the adventure. Luckily the game developers are nice enough to give you a second chance. Because the game is remastered you are able to choose whether you want to play the original point and click version or play the modern adventure style version.
