🇻🇳 About this walk: We start in the Ancient Town, sitting on the central coast of Vietnam along the banks of the Thu Bon River. Once one of the most important trading ports in Southeast Asia, Hoi An remains a coherent blend of Chinese, Japanese, and French architectural fingerprints. We explore the narrow streets lined with mustard-yellow walls and countless silk lanterns that transform the town once the sun goes down.
We visit the historic Faifoo Coffee for a view over the rooftops and dive into the town’s world-famous tailoring industry, where custom garments are crafted in as little as 24 to 48 hours. As darkness falls, we head to the Night Market, a sensory experience filled with handmade crafts and the smell of grilled local delicacies.
We finish our walk by the Thu Bon River, where hundreds of floating lanterns create a slow-moving constellation on the water—a living modern ritual rooted in deep Vietnamese tradition.
