Fish With Me in Fort Pierce – Episode 10: D.J. Wilcox Preserve

Episode 10 of Fish With Me in Fort Pierce takes us to D.J. Wilcox Preserve in Fort Pierce, Florida! 🎣🌴 D.J. Wilcox has several different areas to fish, including a fishing pier and a couple of spillway-style locations, so I wanted to work my way around the preserve and see what we could find. At the first spot, the bite was mostly smaller fish, but I had heard that little pieces of shrimp can be great for catching pinfish here — and that strategy definitely worked. We ended up catching some really nice-sized pinfish that would make excellent live bait. With the fishing pier staying pretty busy, I moved over to the second spillway area, and that’s where things picked up. I ended up getting back-to-back solid snapper bites and landing two snapper before wrapping up the trip.
