In this video, we solve the algebraic equation:
x^(1/10) + x^(1/15) + x^(1/30) = 84
Instead of taking the lengthy cubic substitution route, we look at a clean, smart observation trick:
1. Make denominators uniform: x^(3/30) + x^(2/30) + x^(1/30) = 84
2. Express 84 as powers of 4: 64 + 16 + 4 = 4³ + 4² + 4¹
3. Directly compare terms to get x^(1/30) = 4, giving x = 4³⁰.
This approach saves crucial time in JEE Main, JEE Advanced, and other competitive mathematics exams.
