The reason behind why Till is able to adapt so well even though it took him YEARS in canon to understand everything that happened between him and Ivan. After r6 till was rushed into a series of episodes with no time to process Ivans death, resulting in the hallucinations. Now, he has time to process Ivan’s death, and Ivan’s emotions are laid out in front of him, he’s able to adapt to Ivan better, Maturing in the process. Ivan on the otherhand, is a canonically very reserved person. He keeps his emotions bottled up, from Till the most. But when his emotions are put on a flat screen for Till of all people to see, keeping his emotions bottled up is more difficult. Seeing what he originally thought wouldn’t matter to his loved one, actually ended up hurting his loved one, the exact opposite of what makes him happy. He breaks down.
