I think what stands out the absolute most about Tuca and Bertie is the way it portrays the characters’ relationships. While the show is big and loud and fun on the surface, the ways it explores these characters and their relationships are actually incredibly nuanced. And the journey I find most interesting is Tuca’s, especially in the way she navigates both of her friendships and particularly her love life, and the evolution she undergoes throughout these 3 excellent seasons of TV.
