⚽ SOCCER DRILLS VS. NO DRILLS | ARE WE COACHING THE WRONG WAY? Are traditional soccer drills helping players develop, or are we just teaching them how to become better at running through cones? 🤔⚽ Growing up playing soccer, drills were a major part of my development. From passing and ball control to dribbling and conditioning, repetition was something I experienced throughout my playing career. But as I've transitioned into coaching and started taking *U.S. Soccer (USSF) Grassroots coaching courses, I've been introduced to a different perspective: **game-based training, player decision-making, and learning through realistic soccer situations.* So that raises an interesting question... Are traditional drills still necessary, or should coaches be moving toward a more game-based approach?
