KOSOVO 🇽🇰 | Country 62/100
Another weekend, another country.
I work full-time in finance in Zurich, but I’m trying to visit 100 countries before I turn 30, which means most of my travelling has to happen between Friday night and Sunday.
This weekend: Kosovo.
I landed on Friday night, rented a car and spent the next two days road-tripping around the country. I visited Prizren, walked across the old stone bridge and explored the area around the Sinan Pasha Mosque, before driving to the Bear Sanctuary Prishtina, where rescued bears now live after years in captivity.
From there, I stopped by the lake and continued into the countryside to stay at Kasollet e Zanave — my favourite stay from this trip. Tiny cabins, horses and animals everywhere, beautiful countryside and honestly some of the best food of the weekend.
The next day, I got back in the car and visited Gračanica Monastery, explored more of the area and eventually met two girls who had messaged me through Instagram before I had to make my way back to the airport.
This vlog is basically the entire weekend: the driving, the food, the random stops, the places I planned to see and all the little moments in between.
I started travelling like this because I got tired of waiting for “enough time” to see the world. I still have a normal Monday-to-Friday job, so instead of waiting for long holidays, I started using the weekends I already had.
And somehow… we’re now at country 62/100. 🌍
If you’re also trying to travel while working full-time — or you just want to see where country 63 takes me — subscribe and come along.
