I cannot recommend Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

The beginning to Sarah J. Maas' Throne of Glass series, her debut novel, is a waste of time. Not only do I not recommend the novel. But I genuinely believe it to be a waste of space within the conversation of the many greats of fantasy. This first novel does nothing special, often skipping the majority of what makes fantasy fun to read. The charcater Celaena Sardothien is not only a boring character, but a Mary Sue. A character who's perfect at literally everything she does. This makes for a boring experience and a character no reader could ever be interested in following. Throne of Glass is below average fantasy. Which is ironic when I previously have read A Court of Thorns and Roses; a book with some of the weakest worldbuilding I've ever seen. But regardless, it's still the better book compared to this. This novel is rushed, unexciting, and terribly confused. I cannot recommend Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas.
