Thompson Twins - If You Were Here [eLeMeNOhPeaQ Extended Album Version]

"If You Were Here" is from the 1983 Thompson Twins album, Quick Step & Side Kick (titled as Side Kicks in North America). The song was featured in the ending scene and credits of the 1984 John Hughes film, Sixteen Candles. The song is well-known for its inclusion in the film, and was never released as a single. Singles from the Thompson Twins' 1984 follow-up album, Into The Gap, were already being released. Since there was no official instrumental or dub version available, I only had the album version to work with on this extended version. Not my greatest work, but the song runs under 3 minutes in length in its original form, and I wanted a longer version.
