Cognitive Development

We are called Homo Sapiens for a reason. We are thinking beings. On the road to full cognitive development children go through certain stages that will impact on their capacity to understand things, work out what’s happening around them, and communicate. Coaches must help children go through these stages and also take them into account to ensure that activities and sessions are pitched at the right level. Leading expert, Dr Andy Abraham provides great ideas for coaches to support cognitive development.
