The Deadly Plane Crash That Nearly Ended Professional Wrestling

In 1975 a deadly plane crash nearly ended professional wrestling. What happened? What was the eerie omen that a wrestler experienced, the wrestlers involved, the other plane crash involving wrestlers that happened that same year, and the man some believe saved professional wrestling through his heroics? Travel is an inescapable part of a wrestler’s life but just as it happens in everyday life, it can turn deadly whether it’s travel by car or airplane. However, a 1975 air crash not only proved deadly to the passengers but it nearly destroyed the wrestling industry.
