We're Coming Back: Introducing Always Grateful Ministries

We are beyond excited to finally introduce Always Grateful Ministries! This is an announcement I've been looking forward to sharing for well over a year. The vision for this nonprofit first took root in April of last year. In June, we met with a potential donor, and that conversation sparked months of seeking wisdom and guidance from trusted friends, mentors, and ministry leaders as we prayerfully considered what this next step would look like. Then, on December 7, I took a leap of faith by reducing my hours at work so I could dedicate time to building this ministry. It wasn't an easy decision as this also meant a 40% reduction in our income while we worked toward this launch, but I knew this was something God was calling us to pursue. Since then, we've spent many months interviewing potential board members, obtaining approvals from the IRS and the state, writing bylaws and policies, working with an attorney to ensure we're fully compliant, setting up the systems we need, sharing the vision with Ciara's prosthetist and other ministry partners, and creating a website that is cohesive and functional. The process of getting to this point has taken much longer than I ever expected, but we have learned so much along the way. Today, we're thrilled to finally be at the point where we can move forward, and we can't wait to share this journey with you. I hope you enjoy this introduction video.
