The circumstances around this record are really silly, lol. I was running this track with Dedede + Bulk for some time, then maziari got a new record of 51.96 with Taranza (should be the optimal character). I was already practiced with Dedede + Bulk though, so... I decided to run keep running and see if I could beat it with Dedede anyway, lol. After some time, I managed to get a WR tie at 0:51.96, but... I wanted to keep going and see if I could actually beat the record. And that brings us here, faster by 0.01, lol. Driving notes: -0:18: The jump at the very start of the lap could be faster. It's inconsistent. -0:24: When refueling, I steer left, then press the control stick diagonal up and right. I'm not entirely sure if this is optimal, however. -0:31: I should be starting this turn slightly further to the left. This would give me better alignment at the end of the turn. (At the end of the turn, I had to press B multiple times to restore grip. But if I took the turn better, I would only need to do one B tap at the end.) -0:41: For both of these turns, I do one long B press, and one short B tap. I think it's faster than repeatedly tapping the B button. -0:46: The wall bounce is a bit precise. The end of your spin should "eject" you to the right. -0:58: It's possible to take the entire turn tightly without tapping B to restore grip. It's hard to do that, however.
