Paramedic ‘Snapped’ Before Wife’s Murder: Prosecution Close

During closing arguments in the Matthew Konen murder trial, prosecutors argued that Konen “snapped” before killing his wife, Rachel, and his father-in-law, David Rogers. Prosecutors pointed to his alleged quick temper, financial problems, affair and divorce, arguing that he was the only person with a reason to kill. They also argued that Rachel was shot in the back while running away and that Konen brutally beat Rogers with a gun before kicking him as he lay wounded.
