I have always been quiet, and afraid to sing in front of others. This year I was able to be in a local children’s choir that helped me gain the confidence I didn’t have before! We each had the unique opportunity to sing a solo song during our concert, and since “Phantom of the Opera” is my favorite musical, I chose “Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again.” This performance, along with the encouragement of my teacher and peers, motivated me to start being a little more brave with my life.
