I WILL STAY WITH YOU – A Song of Faithfulness, Fear and Hope

*I WILL STAY WITH YOU – A Song of Faithfulness, Fear and Hope* What happens when following Jesus comes at a cost? When fear overwhelms us, when we pray for another way, and when we do not understand why God allows suffering? Jesus said to the church in Smyrna: *“Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.”* (Revelation 2:10) But faithfulness does not mean living without fear. Jesus Himself prayed in Gethsemane, asking the Father whether the cup of suffering could pass from Him. *“I WILL STAY WITH YOU”* is a musical prayer inspired by Revelation 2:8–11. Not a celebration of suffering or martyrdom, but an expression of trust in Jesus Christ — the One who died and is alive forevermore. We may ask questions. We may pray for protection. We may seek help. And we may place our hope in Christ rather than in our own courage. 📖 *Bible passages:* Revelation 2:8–11 · Matthew 26:36–46 · John 21:15–19 · Romans 8:35–39 🎬 Discover the full Bible reflection about Smyrna in the Qohelet series: *Through Revelation with Qohelet – Seven Letters, Seven Mirrors.* 🎵 Qohelet | UP MEDIA *Seven letters.
