THE BIBLICAL TRUTH ABOUT THE REAL PRESENCE OF JESUS IN the EUCHARIST; John 6

Jesus said, "This is MY body..." and "This is MY blood...do THIS in memory of me. I am the LIVING BREAD that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world." What do these words mean exactly? Why does the Catholic Church have every priest in every church around the world repeat these exact words before the Consecration? Does the bread really turn into flesh, the wine into blood (Transubstantiation)?
