RIP Michaels Talks On Stage Heart Attack, Wild N' Out, & TI Getting Booed | The Morning Hustle

RIP Michaels had a heart attack in front of a live crowd and woke up in a hospital bed still asking where the audience went. Now the comedian, producer and Wild 'N Out alum is back on the Morning Hustle, and he's holding nothing back. Michaels lives with congenital heart failure, is on the active heart transplant list, and has EMTs on stage at every show. He explains how almost dying changed the way he thinks about legacy, faith and comedy. What's inside: The name "RIP": It started with him doing impressions of his grandmother at her own funeral. The Nick Cannon deal: He guaranteed Nick $40K to $50K upfront to launch the Wild 'N Out live tour, money he didn't have yet. Influencers vs. comedians: Should clubs book social media stars over comics who built their skills on stage? T.I. at Barclays: What really happened when T.I. got booed at the April Fools Comedy Jam. The receipts: Dion Cole pulled up in a Ferrari and left him with the bill. Trey Songz kept his deposit because he thought RIP wasn't going to make it.
