Hello my friends! In this video I take my newly built Limited Edition Carisma SCA-1E 1981 Range Rover for it's first proper trail run at a park near to me. OK, it is not really finished, for a start it needs a driver figure, but at least I got the interior installed (kindly donated by Steve of RC Crawlers Mid-Wales) and managed to fabricate a rear body-mount to replace the standard roof body mount. All that worked out pretty good! However, going uphill was the easy part, but the descents were the problem. I really need to learn how to drive a dedicated crawler rig, or get the correct ESC, as I found the rig slamming on the drag brake or just plummeting down the slope with a little throttle applied. Perhaps you can give me some advice? Always learning, even at my ripe old age! Anyway, I really enjoyed the first trail run, even though I managed to snap off both mirrors, as you will see if you watch 'till the end! Overall, I really enjoyed running the Range Rover, and hope to improve the crawler over time, and my driving skills, of course! Take care out there, happy RCing to you all. Best regards from Mark...
