View from the Upper Deck: PAD97 on Galway Route 401 to Salthill.

I recorded this clip on the 09:12 Route 401 working from Eyre Square as far as Dalysfort Road (08:45 ex Parkmore, Board 409/5) PAD97 (211-G-2477) is one of 40 Alexander Dennis Enviro 400ER Electric Hybrid buses allocated to Galway City Services in 2021. The diesel engine at the rear, serves only to top-up the charge on the 35kWh battery and not to propel the bus.
