EP.11 Hacking Back the Jungle at my Abandoned Lake Fortress in Japan - Plus Secret Waterfall Trip

I'm pushing back against mother nature herself. The forest has been holding this place for years. In this episode I cut through dense vines, peel back layers of dirt and foliage, and begin uncovering the balconies and drains that the mountain tried to erase. Clearing brush. Felling a massive pine. Working the edges of the concrete until the building starts to reappear. We take one quiet break at a secret waterfall hidden in the gorge, then return to the work — spiders, hornets, and a snake appearing as the undergrowth gives way. This is the slow, physical fight to take THE NOTHING back from the forest.
