କବିସମ୍ରାଟ ଉପେନ୍ଦ୍ର ଭଞ୍ଜଙ୍କୁ କୋଟି କୋଟି ପ୍ରଣାମ । ଗୋଟିଏ ଶବ୍ଦ — ତିନି ଅର୍ଥ । This style of writing is called Jamaka or Yamaka. In his Labanyavati, a single word carries three meanings, twice in one couplet. Naḷinī: a lotus-faced maiden, a pond, a lotus in bloom. Bhramara: the black bee, its whirling flight, and the sweet delusion in which it mistakes her face for the flower. Even the error is beautiful.
