Affairs of the Heart | Rumbling Hearts AMV | AWA Accolades 2023

Rumbling Hearts is a show I keep coming back to. I've made multiple AMVs with this source in the past and it felt like the right time to revisit the anime and create something new. It was one of the first anime I was exposed to that featured and discussed infidelity and it left a huge impression on me. I decided to focus on this smaller part of the overarching story, which included doing a lot of deliberate cuts, manipulating facial expressions on characters, and even masking in characters where they weren't there before, to help paint a new scenario in which both partners are caught cheating on one another. The intention is to communicate uncertainty about what this means for this relationship moving forward.
