Christmas Jazz by the Fireside | 8 Hours of Holiday Swing for a Long Festive Evening

Christmas jazz by a graphite-grey Georgian fireplace with a brass-framed fire burning tall and bright, a full evergreen garland of red velvet bows and gold baubles along the mantel, a wooden upright piano with a single candle beside the hearth, and a glowing Christmas tree heaped with red gifts. 8 hours of instrumental holiday jazz from a piano trio, piano, upright bass and soft brushed drums with an easy, gentle swing, with the warm sound of the fire underneath. The music is all traditional Christmas melodies arranged for a small jazz trio: the piano leads each tune, the upright bass walks underneath and the drummer keeps a soft pulse with brushes. Nothing is sung and nothing is rushed, so the long playlist sits easily in the background, and the fire, the candle on the piano and the tree lights keep the hearth glowing for the whole eight hours. Leave it on through a long holiday day: working, studying, reading, wrapping presents, or a slow Christmas evening at home with the lights low.
