A springtime walk up Lake Lure and Chimney Rock's scenic Memorial Highway and along the Broad River - discussing the tight-knit local community, the recovery efforts after Hurricane Helene in 2024, the roles played by volunteers and local disaster relief groups, and how you can support the local tourism economy as they continue to rebuild this beautiful area of Appalachia.
