Mario Paint Music - Married Life from Up

Up came out a few years before I got married. Now I've been married for 14 years. This whole intro scene from the movie hit me so hard in the theater that I couldn't really focus on the rest of the movie, and I still feel that way today. Perhaps the best thing Pixar has ever done. I had to pay tribute in my Mario Paint way. 🩵 ~~~ I was a child when Mario Paint released on Super Nintendo. It was the first digital music creation tool I ever used, and I was hooked. It was a uniquely accessible tool for the times, which worked well for me as a young musician. Mario Paint carries some serious limitations - no sharps & flats, only 3 instruments at the same time, no syncopation, and only 96 beats worth of music - that make it functionally very different from more modern music tools (or mods of Mario Paint). That said, I enjoy it - it becomes a fun puzzle to figure out how to finesse different pieces into sounding good within those limitations. I've kept up making music here and there and recently thought it might be fun to make a full-on YouTube channel to share my work. Enjoy!
