🏁 Almería Day 4 | Finally Back in the Flow! | New PB 1:53.1

The final session of four days at Almería, and what a way to finish before the rain arrived! After shredding two Bridgestone VO2 Medium front tyres during the first two days, I switched things up for the final two days. I kept the Bridgestone Medium Soft rear, which was wearing beautifully, but changed the front to a Dunlop KR (4). Once I got the front dialled in at 32 psi, the bike started feeling fantastic and I finally found my flow again on the newly laid Almería tarmac. I had been running 1:55s and 1:54s over the previous couple of days, but for the final session we finally got what we’d been waiting for — an open track! A couple of slower laps to warm everything up, then: 🏁 2 × 1:55s 🏁 2 × 1:54s 🏁 3 × 1:53s 🔥 Final PB: 1:53.1! And then, inevitably, the rain arrived early and brought the session to an end. I honestly reckon there was a 1:52 comfortably in there if we’d had a few more laps of clear track. But that’s Almería — always leaving you wanting another session!
