This kit will delete the sound tube entirely and also includes a block off cap for use on the factory intake and a firewall plug to prevent debris and odors from entering the cabin. http://www.americanmuscle.com/blowfis... Get Natural Engine Sound. The Blowfish Racing Sound Tube Delete Kit is a simple but effective way to remove the artificial engine noise of your 2015-2017 GT Mustang’s sound tube and hear the actual motor sound. This means that the engine noise is less for stock systems, and may increase with aftermarket cold air intakes, turbochargers, and other boost parts. The kit reduces engine bay clutter, too, while sealing off many of the odors that might entire the cabin from the engine. It even cuts 1-2 lbs of weight! Plain but Sturdy Build. Blowfish Racing constructs this delete kit out of simple, tough materials that stand up well to the hot, corrosive engine bay environment. The intake cap is molded rubber and attaches over the intake tube nipple with a precision fitted stainless steel band clamp. The firewall plug can be used solid or drilled to admit wiring for aftermarket electronics. This is a very thrifty, affordable solution. Application. This sound tube delete kit by Blowfish Racing is made for the GT trim level of 2015-2017 Mustangs.
