REVIEW: 2018 Volkswagen Polo GTI.

Another privately owned unit which we filmed at the start of December, the 2018 Volkswagen Polo GTI. With it VW introduced the EA888 2.0L engine for the first time in a Polo GTI. The turbo-petrol four-pot develops 142kW and 320Nm driving the front wheels via a six-speed DSG. What this means is that the peak Polo can accelerate from a halt to 100km/h in 6,7 seconds and top 237km/h. Claimed fuel consumption is at 5.9L/100km.
