Brazilian 19th century Anonymous Music Lundum - Melodica, Harpsichord, Cavaquinho, Guitar, Drums

Hi all Allow me to share something from my country with you this time. It´s a brazilian XIX century dance. This video is a tribute to all slaves who lived in Brazil during this period.I hope you enjoy it! This is my first try playing guitar and cavaquinho. I don´t know how to play it but as the music has practically 2 chords i decided to "make a sound" with it. Nicolas de Souza Barros History of Lundum The interconnectedness of Lusophone countries dates back to the Atlantic Slave Trade, between Portugal, Brazil and regions of Africa In the 15th century, the Portuguese were the primary exporters of African slaves to the Americas, and with slaves came their musical traditions. Throughout the 17th and 18th centuries, there was a massive Brazilian presence in Angola, enabling a cultural exchange between the two Portuguese colonies. This exchange enabled subtle amalgamations of musical styles between Angola, Brazil and other African slave trade countries.
