The Humans Met the Galactic Empire and Burst Out Laughing at the Ceremonial Scepter | HFY

The Humans Met the Galactic Empire and Burst Out Laughing at the Ceremonial Scepter | HFY What happens when humanity's very first contact with a galactic empire goes wrong in the funniest possible way? Two humans step onto the deck of a massive warship, face forty armoured soldiers, and watch an envoy perform a four-thousand-year-old ritual with a golden scepter. Then the scepter squeaks. And they laugh. In the Mordath Dominion, laughter means contempt, the baring of teeth, the prelude to war. Envoy Mazhurr Morvekh has carried the sacred scepter for thirty-one years and nobody has ever dared laugh at it. Now the Marshal wants the strangers punished, and a three-hundred-year-old peace conference is about to collapse for the fifth time. #HFY #SciFiStory #FirstContact #HumansAreDangerous #Deathworld #AlienPOV #SpaceOpera #WholesomeSciFi #SciFiComedy #GalacticEmpire
