Alabama BBQ Is Making Me Question My Life Choices...

Today I'm reacting to Jolly's **Two Brits Try Southern Barbecue in Alabama**, and I don't think I've ever been this hungry watching a YouTube video. As someone who's pescatarian, these American barbecue videos always make me question my life choices because everything somehow looks unbelievably good! In this reaction, Josh and Ollie travel to Birmingham, Alabama, to experience authentic Southern barbecue, including Alabama's famous white BBQ sauce, smoked chicken, ribs, biscuits and gravy, green beans, baked beans, and classic Southern comfort food. I had no idea Alabama had such a unique barbecue tradition, especially the legendary white sauce made from mayonnaise, vinegar, salt, and pepper. It sounds simple, but it looked absolutely incredible on the smoked chicken. One of the biggest surprises for me was just how comforting everything looked. The biscuits and gravy immediately caught my attention, and I honestly think I would order those before almost anything else on the menu. Watching Buck explain the history of Alabama white sauce and seeing how passionate he was about the food made the experience even better. He seemed like such a genuinely kind person, and it's easy to see why people recommend his restaurant. I also couldn't believe how affordable the entire meal was. Between the barbecue, sides, desserts, and drinks, it looked like an amazing value. Seeing the juicy smoked ribs, crispy chicken skin, tender green beans, and homemade pies made me add Alabama even higher on my list of places I want to visit in the United States.
