'Voice Kids' runner-up enters grand finals of 'Tawag ng Tanghalan' | ABS-CBN News

Carmelle Collado, who finished runner-up in the 2019 edition of "The Voice Kids" under Team Bamboo, is another step closer to being a champion, this time in another singing competition. The 17-year-old hopeful advanced to the grand finals of Tawag ng Tanghalan on Wednesday (January 15) with an applauded performance of "I Wanna Dance With Somebody." "I think you're the next big star," judge Klarisse de Guzman told Collado, whom she commended for her stage presence and effortless singing. Collado went up against another alumnus of "The Voice," Thor Valiente of the 2024 teens edition.
