I FOUND A FRAGRANCE I ACTUALLY WANT TO KEEP SECRET!

I genuinely didn't want to talk about this one. Ard Al Zaafaran Mousuf has become one of the most gatekept fragrances in my collection, mainly because I wasn't sure I wanted everyone finding out about it. On paper, the notes make it sound completely different to what I actually get on my skin. Lemon, bergamot and plum? Yeah... I'm not really getting that. Instead, I get this really strange mix of sour fruity sweetness and dark chocolate, which then starts to turn warmer, nuttier and a bit woody as it dries down. The opening can be a little rough, I'll be honest. Get your nose too close and there's definitely a slightly chemical edge to it. But give it a few minutes and it settles down surprisingly quickly. And that's what I like about Mousuf. It's not trying to be some sophisticated, ultra-refined fragrance. It's loud, sweet, a bit weird and honestly just really enjoyable. The performance is also seriously good for the price. Strong projection for the first few hours, then it settles into the skin and keeps going for hours afterwards. It's basical
