7/8ths' Scale Hunslet "Jack" - Logging Train

The original Jack ran on the 18" gauge John Knowles system in the UK. Here is a model, scratchbuilt by Ray Wyborn and extensively modified by James Gilchrist (and a little by me) running at Roy Wood's Holtwood Light Railway. We were is a bit of a hurry, so Jack, who will run very slowly, was just a bit fast. I have edited the video at half speed which deepens the chuff and makes more relaxing viewing ;-) This loco is fitted with a special, 7/32" Summerlands Chuffer as the chimney is quite tall and narrow.
