Joel Klatt on Alabama's Puzzling Playcalling, Ohio State's Costly Win, Texas' Abysmal Offense & more

FOX Sports’ Joel Klatt joins The Next Round to break down a wild college football weekend, Alabama’s loss to Tennessee, Ohio State’s escape against Indiana, and the growing College Football Playoff debate. Was this past Saturday the BEST Saturday in college football history—and who is actually the best team in the country? Klatt discusses Indiana’s close loss to Ohio State, including Nick Marsh’s costly lack of awareness near the boundary on what could have been the game-winning touchdown catch. What did the showdown reveal about the Hoosiers and Buckeyes, and why does Joel believe the AP Top 25 poll is antiquated in today’s college football? We also dig into Alabama vs. Tennessee and Ryan Grubb’s head-scratching offensive script. Why didn’t the Crimson Tide commit to the running game, and how much did the offensive approach contribute to Alabama’s loss in Knoxville? Plus, did Notre Dame get screwed in its loss at BYU? What’s wrong with Texas’ offense with Arch Manning? And why isn’t Joel buying the argument that a three-loss team will make the College Football Playoff?
