You may know Jon Hutman from his work with writer/director Nancy Meyers. He is the production designer behind the iconic homes in 'Something's Gotta Give', 'It's Complicated' and 'The Holiday'. Here, he breaks down 'Sleepless in Seattle' the preeminent insomnia classic of 1993. The first of two movies Nora Ephron directed with Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks, this one is set on opposite coasts, with two very distinctive styles. On the one hand we have Annie Reed in her world that is pink and on the other we have Sam Baldwin in his world that is blue. What brings them together is fate and magic and some clever set design.
