“Roundabout Way" To Make Fire With Jute And Ashes

I wanted to try a Jute Fire Roll experiment. After washing all the batch processing oil out of a 12” of jute twine, I thought it would fire roll ignite, UNFILLED! Lol! It failed miserably. Instead of throwing it all away, I tore apart the failed roll, reused the fibers, and added the well known and very dependable filler of wood ashes. It worked perfectly!
