Advancing Mental Health Equity Through Value-Based Care

Presented in affiliation with Morehouse School of Medicine, this capstone proposal explores a value-based healthcare framework designed to advance mental health equity among low-income adults ages 18–64 in Wake County, North Carolina. The presentation examines community healthcare needs, behavioral health access disparities, financial sustainability, technology integration, and strategies for creating more equitable, accountable, and patient-centered healthcare systems.
