In this video, we present the FLEXY Horizontal System by Vidali Finishing, installed at Oikos, a company specializing in design safety doors and entrance architectural solutions. The FLEXY Horizontal System is an automatic storage system for horizontal coating lines, designed to improve flexibility, efficiency, and control throughout the production process. Thanks to the dual-station automatic shuttle for handling material trays, the system makes it possible to process only the trays required at each specific stage. This reduces unnecessary movements and helps optimize production times. Unlike traditional systems based on a fixed First In, First Out logic, FLEXY allows each tray to be moved independently. Each item can follow its own customized coating cycle, different from the others, enabling simultaneous work across multiple operating areas such as loading, coating, drying, and unloading. The system also allows production priorities to be changed at any time, grouping parts according to shape, color, production cycle, or customer urgency. The accumulation storage is custom-built and easily expandable. Finished parts can be unloaded only when needed, reducing handling on carts and improving order, safety, and efficiency within the production area. The plant configuration is fully customizable and scalable. FLEXY System can also be integrated with SCADA software for the management and monitoring of the different processing phases.
