Sutras 7 to 14 explain one- pointedness in devotion. Bhakti means outgrowing worldliness and becoming unified with God. One can maintain one’s life comfortably but it has to conform to the scriptural injunctions. Narada Bhakti Sutras is a very important work in Bhakti literature. It systematically organises the great path of devotion, away from beliefs, irrationality, faith and hocus pocus. Based on the ancient traditions of love for God, its approach is very similar to the ultimate sacred book of the devotees, Srimad Bhagavatam.
