Just sharing my little adventure in Beijing! 🇨🇳 It’s been a while since my last trip, so I thought I’d bring you along this time. I visited Beijing in May 2025 and let me tell you, it was hot and humid! 🥵 Definitely not the best weather unless you're okay with the heat. But despite the weather, Beijing really impressed me with its amazing food and friendly people. From iconic local eats to kind interactions with locals, it was an unforgettable experience. Some quick tips: We mainly used Alipay, WeChat, Didi, and Baidu Maps to get around. If you're booking tours via Klook, WeChat is essential. Pickup details are usually shared there. Many restaurants have multiple outlets, so double-check the exact location. For popular spots, expect to queue. Some allow online queuing through local apps (which require a China number), so if that’s not possible, go early and queue in person.
