Mysteries of Salt Fork State Park

October 2008, dark woods of Eastern Ohio. Salt Fork State Park. For those that don’t know. Before the days of me going deaf, I dabbled in Cryptid and Paranormal Research. Living close to Salt Fork Lake, I have spent many days and nights in the park. Fishing, boating, hunting and just driving the roads throughout the park. In 2007 the Wife and I experienced a set of events that sent me into the Cryptid scene. Strange sounds emitting from the woods surrounding our home. Jump to mid October 2008. In the late night hours a small group of researchers and enthusiasts set their sights on Salt Fork State Park. To follow up on recent sighting reports. Three of us split off from the group. We ventured down a trail into a thickly forested valley. These recordings are from that night. I don’t any of us was expecting such activity. The park carries many legends, stories and personal encounters with the strange. Cryptids, UFOs, spirits and ghosts have all been reported. Hope you enjoy the adventure.
