What do we do when we pray, believe, and ask—but the answer does not come the way we expected? In “Thank God for Unanswered Prayers,” Senior Pastor Josh Seabolt reminds us that an unanswered prayer is not evidence of an absent or unloving God. Sometimes the closed door we are grieving is developing our trust, protecting us, or redirecting us toward something we cannot see yet. Through the stories of Hannah and Lazarus, we discover that God is not limited by the size of our request—and His delays do not mean He has stopped loving us. We can continue praying boldly without demanding our preferred outcome. Faith says: “God, I trust Your wisdom more than I trust my perspective.” Do not judge the story while you are still standing in the middle. God may not be finished yet.
