Yamaha Stage Custom Birch Recording Session - Follow The Star written and performed by Darran Muller

I've recently been back in the studio recording a couple of songs with the new Yamaha Stage Custom Birch 6 piece kit and some of the new PSTX range of cymbals from Paiste. This is a track I wrote many years ago for the opening of a show. THE KIT Yamaha Stage Custom Birch 22 x 17 Kick Drum 10x7.5 Tom 12 x 8 Tom 14 x 13 Floor Tom 16x15 Floor Tom 13 x 6.5 Musashi Oak Snare 10x5 Aux Snare Cymbals - Paiste 12" Twenty series Hats 10" PSTX Hats 14" PSTX Stack 18" 602 Modern Essentials Crash 20" Signature Dry Dark Ride 16" 602 Modern Essentials Crash 18" Alpha Swiss Stack HEADS Toms are fitted with Remo coated Emperors on the top and Remo clear Ambassadors on the bottom. Kick drum still has the batter head supplied by Yamaha which is basically a Remo PS3. The Snare drum is fitted with a Remo coated Ambassador on the batter and an Ambassador snare side head on the bottom.
