Picking up the momentum from our previous episodes with Nigel, the F-Type, we’re now geared up with a clear roadmap. The mission in this episode is to commence the removal of the AJ126 engine. With the lift table purchased, we begin the tasks of detaching essential components to allow the front subframe / engine to be dropped from the bottom of the vehicle. The episode shows the removal of transmission output flange bolt, thermostat lower radiator hose, and steering column lower bolt, eventually leading to the extraction of the top radiator shroud, air intake Y-pipe, and coolant thermostat housing. As we unbolt, unhook, and unveil, the journey of reviving Nigel gets more exhilarating. Join us on this journey of disassembly, as we inch closer to the not so glorious AJ126.
