My Father’s TAG Heuer Monaco | CAW2111

This TAG Heuer Monaco CAW2111 belonged to my father before it became mine. It has a classic sunray blue dial, a Calibre 12 movement, and plenty of scratches — most of which were already there when my father was wearing it. A few years ago, he handed it down to me. I’ve never had it polished, and I don’t plan to. I still wear it, and over time, I’ll probably add a few marks of my own. In this video, I take a closer look at the CAW2111, how it compares with my much more modern Las Vegas Monaco, and why being able to keep, maintain, and eventually pass on a mechanical watch is part of what makes these watches special to me.
