Tuko Freshy School Tour | A Day at Olympic High School, Kibera | Kenya's Most Inspiring Day School?

What is it really like to spend a full day at Olympic High School? Welcome to another episode of Tuko Freshy School Tour, where we spend an entire day experiencing life inside some of Kenya's most inspiring secondary schools. In this episode, we visit Olympic High School, a mixed day secondary school located in the heart of Kibra, Nairobi. From sunrise to sunset, we follow students through every part of their school day—morning arrival, assembly, classrooms, porridge break, lunch under the trees, clubs, sports, and the emotional lowering of the school flag. Along the way, we discover a school that continues to challenge expectations. 🌱 A remarkable greening programme featuring hydroponic farming, vegetable gardens, and a thriving fish pond. 🗑️ A culture of cleanliness, discipline, and environmental responsibility. 🏀 Outstanding basketball teams, including the celebrated Lioness, one of Nairobi's top girls' basketball teams, and an ambitious boys' basketball team steadily making its mark. 🎶 A vibrant school community where journalism, debate, music, culture, and leadership thrive beyond the classroom. 🇰🇪 A unique assembly where students sing the Kenya National Anthem, the East African Anthem, and proudly raise the Olympic High School flag while singing their school anthem. 🇰🇪 We also experience Kiswahili Speaking Day, proving that language is not just communication—it is identity. Throughout the documentary, we hear inspiring stories from students, teachers, school leaders, support staff, and the people whose daily efforts continue to shape Olympic High School. This is more than a school tour. It is a story of resilience, possibility, and hope.
