Medieval Sleep Music 🕯 Rain on the Castle Window | Chamber I: The Library

1 hour of medieval sleep music with soft rain on the window and the gentle crackle of candles in an old castle library. Relax, fall asleep, read or study in the warm candlelight of Hollowmont Castle. 🕯 Chamber I: The Library This is the very first chamber of Hollowmont, and the beginning of our story. 📜 The Tale of Sir Philip, Part I Long ago, in a land where the rain seldom stopped, stood the castle of Hollowmont. Its master, Sir Philip, was a cold and silent knight. Servants lowered their eyes when he passed, and few dared to speak to him. Yet in all his order there was no man wiser or more just, and no one ever spoke a word against him. When he returned from his last battle, something in him had changed. Night after night he could not sleep, and he would sit alone in his library, reading by candlelight while the rain whispered against the glass. His only companion was Morwen, a grey owl who watched him. Then came the night of the great storm… and by morning, Sir Philip was gone. "The war is over, yet I still cannot sleep. I read until the candle burns low, but the words slip away like rain down the glass. Morwen watches me from the shelf. I think she knows more than she lets on." — from the diary of Sir Philip Hollowmont, Entry I Every chamber of Hollowmont hides a page of his diary.
